Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge program serves low-income graduating high school seniors from
Manatee and Sarasota counties.
The goal of the program is to transition these students to college success by having them begin their college experience during the summer. Students get a jump-start by completing two courses before the fall term begins.
Each student receives tuition and book scholarships valued at more than $600. At the end of the program, students will have earned three college credits and completed a college reading prep class. In addition, students are monitored and mentored throughout their time at MCC.
