 Hello and Welcome to "the Pride and the Passion" that is MCC Athletics!

Manatee Community College has a long lineage of athletic success, the stuff from which legends are made. The Lancers are known throughout the conference, the state and the country for our dedication, desire and determination to succeed. That success can be discovered on many levels--whether it is earning an associates degree, moving on to a four-year academic institution, discovering a great occupation or advancing to the next level athletically.

As Lancers, we take great pride in our amazing athletic staff, our superior family of coaches and the top-notch student athletes that compete for us. Our philosophy is straightforward: We encourage our student athletes to "make BIG plays and earn GREAT grades!" We want them to succeed on and off the athletic arenas.

There are many reasons you may be navigating our Web site. You might be considering MCC as a potential student athlete, or possibly you are a Lancer alumnus, a past or current staff member, a potential sponsor or a Lancer fan looking at our schedule of upcoming volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball games. Directions to Robert C. Wynn Baseball and Softball Field

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Whether you are interested in intercollegiate competition or intramural fun, the Athletic Department has opportunities for you. Varsity Sports Womens Softball and Volleyball. Mens: Baseball and Basketball. Each varsity sport offers scholarships based on athletic abilities. Tryouts are scheduled for all sports. Contact the coaches for dates and times.

 DIRECTIONS TO MCC

Directions from 275 to Robert C. Wynn Baseball Field and Softball Field
Travel south over the Skyway Bridge (275) to Hwy 41 into Bradenton. Cross the DeSoto Bridge (passing Manatee Memorial Hospital to the left and the Holiday Inn Riverfront to the right) and continue south. The road curves to the right (DeSoto Square Mall is on the right) and becomes Cortez Road. Go to the third traffic signal (a major intersection with two (2) left turn lanes) and turn left onto Hwy 41 South. Go south to the fourth traffic signal - 57th Avenue West (there is a 7-11 on the right corner) and turn right. Go west on 57th Avenue West and continue through the traffic signal at 26th Street West. Manatee Community College is on your left. Continue to the next traffic signal at 34th Street West and turn left. Wynn Field is on your left.

Directions from I-75 to Robert C. Wynn Baseball Field and Softball Field
Take exit 217 (old #41) of Interstate 75. This is a westbound exit onto State Road 70. Take SR-70 to 34th Street West (about 8 miles). Turn left at the traffic signal at 34th Street West. Go south through the traffic signal at 57th Avenue West and the field is on your left.

WEIGHT ROOM
The weight room is open to students, faculty and staff only daily. The weight room is located in building 17 room 214. Hours are posted outside.
